Our school is a magnet school. We have special classes that we call connection classes in which the students are enriched by studying a subject in-depth and creating projects. My most recent connection class was about the environment. I happened upon your site and was very excited about the opportunity to get the kids involved. One of our projects was to illustrate your book. We always have a showcase night at the end of our classes and this time we added a book sale! The parents loved the books. I will teach this class again to another group and will do the same thing. At the end of the school year I will send half of the money earned to The Kids Book Project and half to the Rainforest. |
